OLYMPIC GAMES Laminated plan of the Paris 1992 Olympic Games project Dimensions: 91 x 115 cm Paris' bid to host the 1992 Olympic Games was championed by François Mitterrand. Faced with Barcelona, the bid failed, even though on the same day, France took over the Winter Games in Albertville. The Games were scheduled to run from August 1 to 16, 1992. The Olympic Village in the Bercy-Tolbiac district. Part on the left bank, south of the aquatic center, now the Bibliothèque François-Mitterrand. Another on the right bank, adjacent to the Parc de Bercy, which became the ZAC de Bercy. Lots will be available for collection by appointment on Thursday, October 3, 2024, in Paris XVe (Métro: Sevres-Lecourbe, or Pasteur).
