The Hildesheim Treasure, discovered in 1868 in Lower Saxony, is the largest collection of Roman silver discovered outside the imperial borders. It is now housed in Berlin's Altes Museum.
From 1874 onwards, Christofle produced silver-plated copper reproductions of the 70 pieces that make up the collection.
Lots will be available for collection by appointment on Thursday, November 7, 2024, in Paris XVe (Metro: Sevres-Lecourbe, or Pasteur).
