CHINE-Epoque QIANLONG (1736-1795) Ribbed ormolu and enamel painted jug decorated with a standing scholar holding a fly swatter accompanied by two children on one side, and two seated scholars with a servant on the other, flown over by five bats. The spout is decorated with a dragon head. On the reverse of the base, the mark "Jing zhi", respectfully made. The lid decorated with a lotus flower in its foliage. H. 18 cm.
