In the early 1980s she moved to the United States, where she wrote "Las Meninas", a series of in-depth studies on Velázquez's painting "Las Meninas". She followed this up with another book devoted to the Alhambra and its architecture. Her aim is to select and analyze in detail the tensions of the action, which explains her particular interest in bulls and the cape of the bullfighter (subjects of her next collection). Since 1990, she has devoted herself mainly to the recovery of artistic spaces, such as the castle of Vélez Blanco (Almeria). Since then, she has tried to establish a close link between the place and her pictorial work. Some of her works are exhibited in museums in Madrid, Barcelona, Alava Vitoria, Granada, Sweden, Alicante, Japan. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions in Spain, Germany, Belgium, United States, Italy, France and has held individual exhibitions in Europe, the Americas and Asia. Alfons Roig Prize (1977), National Prize of Plastic Arts (1993), Gold Medal of Merit of Fine Arts (2007), Velázquez Prize of Plastic Arts (2020), Nomination as member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Carlos de Valencia (2022).
