LUCIEN-GRAUX (Lucien Désiré Prosper Graux dit) La Comtesse de Luçay. Paris, H. Champion, 1930. 2 vol. in paperback, jacket and slipcase. EAS to Pierre Kahn, probably Pierre Kahn-Farelle (1906-2000), who later joined the Resistance like Lucien Graux, but with a less tragic fate (Lucien Graux was deported to Dachau). Edition numbered 53/160, main print run on hollande laid paper. The second volume contains facsimiles of letters. Jeanne Charlotte Papillon d'Auteroche (17692-1845) was lady-in-waiting to Empress Josephine, and later lady-in-waiting to Empress Marie-Louise of Austria. Slight wear to the case. Lots will be collected by appointment only, on TUESDAY OCTOBER 15, 2024, by calling 01 45 66 54 96, in Paris XVème (Métros : Pasteur - Ligne 12 & Sèvres-Lecourbe - Ligne 6). [The exact address will be communicated to you after full payment of the slip, when the appointment is made].
