Émile GALLE (1846-1904) Carved and molded mahogany and wood marquetry poly-lobed quadrangular display case with glazed top, opening onto an interior with height-adjustable glass shelves and a curved drawer in the waistband. The lower part of the display case is decorated with poppy flower marquetry and a poly-lobed belt decorated with papal coins and birds. Recessed corner base with curved legs carved at the top with leaves and fully grooved, with curved and grooved cross brace at the bottom (small cracks, accidents, insolate wood, one shelf missing). Signed in the marquetry.
