Born at the beginning of the twentieth century, Lucienne Pageot Rousseaux is a French cartoonist : it certainly represents the memory of seventy years of Parisian choreographic life, from the end of Serge Diaghilev's Ballets Russes to the creations of Maurice Béjart
It was at the age of twenty that she discovered dance during a performance of the Shakaroffs at the Mogador theatre, then by attending, a few years later, the arrival of Serge Lifar at the Opera.
