Collection of Mr. Philippe COLLIN

After studying at the IDHEC, Philippe Collin, born in 1931, became assistant director to Moguy, Rohmer, Renoir, Allégret, Malle, Cavalier...Between 1968 and 1988, he made numerous films for the "Archives du XXe siècle" series. He is also known for his twenty years as an acerbic film critic (notably for Elle magazine and France Inter's Le Masque et la Plume program), and for his highly personal films for television and cinema, in which humor and poetry go hand in hand (Ciné-Follies, Le Fils puni, Les Derniers jours d'Emmanuel Kant, Aux abois). He was awarded the 2009 SCAM audiovisuel prize for his body of work.

An enthusiast of contemporary art, he has built up a carefully curated collection in his home over the years.
