Our sales like no other !
For nearly 70 years, our auction house, a historic shareholder of Drouot, has been organizing auctions at Drouot on behalf of banks and public institutions, businesses, legal representatives, notaries, and private individuals.
To meet the needs of heirs in inheritance cases, we have developed a unique method for organizing auctions directly from private residences, called "INTERIOR Sales."
The concept is simple and efficient:
1 – On-site appraisal and preparation: The catalogue is created directly in the apartment, with no transport or storage costs.
2 – Online auction on Drouot.com: For 10 days, buyers can place bids online.
3 – On-site collection: Once the lots are awarded, buyers collect their purchases directly from the apartment, after payment of invoices.
This method combines speed, efficiency, and profitability:
Furniture, paintings, and art objects are best presented and valued in their original setting.
You save on moving and storage costs.
In just a few weeks, everything is sold and the apartment can be cleared quickly.
Timeline of a typical INTERIOR Sale:
Day 1 – At our clients’ request, we also organize on-site sales of entire household contents: Parisian apartments (Parisian interiors), countryside homes, and fine residences in both Paris and the provinces.
Days 2 to 5 – Preparation of the sale catalogue on-site. Your items are showcased with high-quality descriptions and photographs.
Days 6 to 16 – Catalogue goes online and is promoted via social media and newsletters.
Day 17 – Online auction closes.
Day 25 – Buyers collect their lots, under our supervision and at their expense.
Day 30 – Apartment is cleared, if necessary, and keys returned.
Day 31 – Sale proceeds are paid to the seller.
If you are looking for a tailored solution to optimize the sale of the entire contents of an apartment, this approach is ideal.
